Cash Pay Pricing allows the employer to keep his PPO network. But, give plan members and medical providers an optional payment method for scheduled procedures.  The plan member receives an exciting offer: share in the savings!  The employer gets large savings, typically 25-50% reduced cost for the claim.  In exchange for accepting a discount, the medical provider receives a simplified claims submission, collects only from the plan, not the plan member, and receives payment on or before the date of procedure.
